Téléflow C.T.I.S. (Central Tire Inflation System) is a process that allows the user to control and modify the tire pressures while travelling.

It ameliorates the mobility of the vehicle, adapting to the surface between the ground and the tire according to :
- The terrain (sand, snow, farm field, track, road…).
- The speed of the vehicle.
- The load being transported.

Main avantages

Improves mobility of the vehicle :
- Progression in difficult terrains.
- Overcoming obstacles (dunes, swamps, clay…).
- Limits skidding.

Improves security and comfort :
- Detection and compensation of tire bursts.
- Reduces the risks when a tire bursts.
- Decreases jolting and vibrations.

Improves the yielding :
- Fuel economises.
- Increases the tire life-span.
- Reduces terrain damages (compaction).
- Optimises all-terrain tires at low pressures.

Each Téléflow inflation system benefits from the exclusive advantages that tribute the Téléflow wheel valve.

The patented design of the multifunctional valve, guaranties rapid tire pressure adjustments and operations under the most severe conditions.

An operation for all tires or tire by tire :
- Inflation and deflation simultaneously or individually.
- The actual tire pressure measurement is done tire by tire.
- In the case of a puncture only the tire concerned receives air, this implies that the other tires are not found overinflated.

A valve maintained closed by the tire’s pressure :
- Like a standard valve, the Téléflow valve is perfectly sealed and does not risk any slow punctures.
- A filter stops the larger impurities found in the tire that may be susceptible to block the valve.

A control by positive pressure only :
- No risk of aspiration of oil from the axles.
- Reaction times are immediate. No delay between the orders given by the user and the beginning of the operation.
- Any little piping air leaks don’t have an influence on the function of the system.

A deflation into open air :
- The air is not restricted by passing via a rotating union.
- The deflation of all tires is as rapid as for one single tire.
- A deflation equivalent to an air passage with an interior diameter of 6mm.
- Dust and other residues found in the tires don’t risk to clog the rotating unions.

A piping optimized :
- There is only a single link between the pneumatic distribution block and the wheel.
- All piping remains depressurized while the system is not requested :
- This implies greatly minimized wear of the rotary joints and CTI seals.
- Also the tire does not deflate if a flexible tubing is torn or broken, even during an operation.

An increased reliability :
- The valves have been in service for over 15 years.
- Endurance tested with more than 500 000 manipulations.
- A choice of materials resistant to corrosion (stainless steel, aluminum 5083, brass…).
- Operating temperatures from – 40° to 70°C.

An engineering office at your service :
- Close to 30 models available for an adaptation for a maximum of vehicles.
- A new interface can be created for optimized adaptation with the rim.
- Studies could be conducted to answer your specific constraints.
